Running Start
English Placement Options for Running Start Students
These options are for students who are participating in the Running Start program. These students are still enrolled in high school but are taking classes at Highline College.
Submit documents for placement review:

* Note: Courses numbered below 100 are pre-college courses. Running Start students who enroll in pre-college courses are responsible for paying tuition for the course. OR, students can continue taking English/Language Arts in high school until eligible for college-level English course placement.

Students have three options, based on assessment and guidance from their entry advisor. Students have one option, followed by two options, based on assessment and guidance
from the entry advisor. English 097 (10 credits) And then, based on grades and instructor recommendation, students should then take
