How to Make Appointments with Financial Aid using Aviso (video)
What to Expect at your Zoom Lobby Appointment
Virtual Meetings with the Financial Aid Office are by appointment only. Students will receive a generic email from Aviso when they schedule their virtual appointment, later a second email will include the zoom link needed to get into the virtual appointment. Students who cannot find the email with the link can login to their Aviso Home screen, click on the appointment and find the link inside.
Please be on time to your meeting. Advisors will wait only 5 minutes past the start of your appointment before they mark you as a no-show. Advisors see both students with appointments and students who walk in to the office to be seen immediately. When you are more than 5 minutes late to your appointment, they move onto students waiting in our lobby. If this happens to you, you can schedule a new appointment for a different day, or come into the Financial Aid Office and join our walk in appointment list to be seen same day (closed Wednesdays, and Friday after 1pm). Note, if you choose to come into the Office, do not come in at the end of the day, on most days, we run out of walk in appointments around 3:30-4pm.
Be ready with your ctcLink ID number and a picture ID: driver’s license, government ID, HC ID, etc.
- We will ask you for ctcLink ID number first
- Followed by you showing me your picture ID using your device’s camera
(This is the only time that you have to use your camera. afterward, you may keep it turned off.)
